Get to know the MOPS Team

Justin - MOPS Founder
I started MOPS because I wanted to know more about the Paranormal. I have a few friends and family members that have told me about their own personal experiences, while I find myself without any. Hopefully that will some day change... My goal is to bring together like-minded people; with an open mind, and yearning to learn more while staying objective at all times.

Rachel - Co Founder
I have lived on cemetery grounds all my life so I have always been interested in the paranormal. After having a couple personal experiences around my home I became interested in learning more about what happens after death. I believe that the only way to truly understand something is to investigate it from a scientific standpoint. When I found out that some of my good friends were also interested in the paranormal, I was excited to help start a group for KC.

Caitlin - Lead Analyst
As long as I can remember I have always been interested in the paranormal. I poured over stories about hauntings and always kept a look out for any strange things I could find myself. It was when I went to Salem, Massachusettes and took some mysterious pictures that I felt that maybe there are indeed unexplained things around me in everyday life. It's cool to find others who are also interested in the ideas of ghosts and hauntings so I didn't have to think twice about joining MOPS!

Rick - Lead Investigator
I have always had an interest in the paranormal, but have never had an encounter. My interest recently has spiked because of shows such as Ghost Hunters, which members of the group T.A.P.S. (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) are asked to investigate buildings where paranormal activity is believed to exist. After watching that show, I had the desire to do something similar to that; and joining MOPS has given me the opportunity.

Joe - Psychological Analyst
I have been employed as a mental health professional for over 30 years and have always had an interest in the paranormal. I had wanted to become involved in investigating paranormal phenomena for some time, and believe in using scientific methods to conduct those investigations. I was fortunate to become associated with MOPS as their approach employs scientific methods to investigate reports of paranormal activity. Hopefully we can advance research in this field. I believe that paranormal activity is consistent with natural laws that are not fully understood at this time.

Chris - Analyst
I recently joined MOPS after hearing my brother talk about a new group he was starting up to study the paranormal. I have always wondered what may happen after physical death. We might not ever be able to fully understand what happens through paranormal research, but my hope is that we can at least come a little closer. I personally find it interesting that there may be ways to communicate with the deceased. I would like to be able to help pass along messages from those that have passed in attempt to comfort their still living friends and family. Obviously, there are some parts of paranormal research that frighten me, like demons and negative human spirits that may try to harm us, but also make me want to know why they choose to do so.
